Grand Junction Parks and Rec Activity Guide Fall 2012 : IFC
Thank You to Our Sponsor Every year, Parks and Recreation receives financial or in-kind support from local businesses, individuals, and community organizations. This support helps keep program fees low and helps provide scholarships for those individuals who cannot afford registration fees. Thanks to this generous support, Parks and Recreation programs reach thousands of people and positively impacts our community making it a better place to live! Outstanding Partner of the Season CPC Solutions was the proud sponsor of the City’s Arbor Day program this spring donating $2,250 to purchase 1,500 tree seedlings. They also printed over 500 art pads that were distributed to School District 51 students who participated in the “Celebrate Trees In Our Community” poster contest. CPC staff helped pass out seedling trees on Arbor Day and were also recognized by City Council during the Arbor Day Proclamation meeting. Thank you CPC Solutions for making a positive difference in our community! Would you like to make the list?
